Katy Perry has
ended Justin Bieber’s reign as the most popular person on Twitter.
The Roar
hitmaker’s follower count surpassed those of the 20-year-old singer over the
weekend and as of Monday Katy had 46,529,048 to Justin’s 46,507,582, with both
rapidly rising.
This comes just
nine months after Justin took over the most-followed title from Lady Gaga,
following a two-year stint at the top.
Gaga still holds
the number three slot, followed by President Barack Obama and Taylor Swift
