Popular show host, Ellen DeGeneres is set to make her second appearance as an academy awards host during the 2014 Academy Awards aka Oscars event which is scheduled to hold in the United States.
The 55-year old, while expressing her excitement on twitter said, ’I’m so excited to be hosting the Oscars for the second time’. You know what they say- the third time’s the charm’. She went on to thank the organisers and her ‘wife’ Portia.
Ellen first hosted the Oscars in 2007 becoming the only woman to fill that exalted role alone after Whoopi Goldberg, a feat that later earned her an Emmy nomination for her performance in 2007
